Founded in January 2019 by Tim Martin, an award winning BBC filmmaker and passionate naturalist, and Luke Dale-Harris, a former investigative environmental journalist who was working with the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group (FWAG). Matt Atkinson joined as Supply Chain Manager in 2022, after 7 years building charcuterie business Cobble Lane Cured.

Simon Heppner ran restaurants and bars in London before joining sustainability consultancy, Good Business, in 2006 where he is still an advisor. He co-founded the Sustainable Restaurant Association in 2010, before founding Net Zero Now in 2021.
Rich Osborn, a former Director at Procter & Gamble, is the CEO of Equilibrium Markets, a technology company that pioneered dynamic food procurement and enables transparent and efficient short food supply chain infrastructure.
